Hair Extensions – Your Questions Answered

What type of hair do you use?

All of our extensions are made using 100% Russian Virgin Cuticle Hair — ethically sourced, cuticle-aligned, and double drawn for natural fullness from root to tip.

How many bundles do I need?

Each product tells you the weight (usually 100g per bundle some come in 50g x 2 and make 100g bundles). Here’s a quick guide:

• 1 Bundle (100g): Volume boost or layering

• 2 Bundles (200g): Partial or fine full install

• 3 Bundles (300g): Full transformation or high-density clients

How long does the hair last?

With proper care and aftercare products, our hair typically lasts 1–2 years — and in many cases, up to 3 years. Yes, really.

What's the difference between Wefts, Tapes & Pre-Bonded?

• Wefts: Long rows of hair applied with braids or micro rings. Great for long-term wear.

• Tape-Ins: Quick to install, flat to the head, perfect for discreet blends.

• Pre-Bonded: Strand-by-strand methods like I-Tip, U-Tip, Nano, Flat Tip. Precision and longevity.

Are there extra costs for longer lengths - No Hidden Charges — Ever.

At Get The Hair, we keep it simple. No upgrade fees. No surprise markups.

Our entire range of 14–30 inch lengths and 53+ salon-quality shades is priced clearly and fairly — without charging extra for the lengths or colours that clients actually want.

While other brands treat anything over 24” or outside the basics as a “premium,” we don’t. If it’s listed on our site, it’s part of our core range — no hidden fees, no nonsense.
